We're Coming to Visit

MySafe:Riverside is coming to your street! If you’re reading this page because you received a “Door Hanger” on your property, it’s because our non-profit public benefit life safety organization wants to say “hello!”

We typically visit homes for several reasons. These may include:

We will typically visit with our fire department partners. So, if you see fire engines on your street, it’s part of our community outreach.

Who Are We?

MySafe:Riverside is a division of The Safe Community Project, a 501c3 non-profit, public benefit organization. We focus on community resiliency and have been doing this work since 2008. We’ve been partnered with the area fire departments since our inception, and we have divisions in Los Angeles County and elsewhere in addition to Riverside County.

What should you expect?

If you’re reading this page, it’s likely because one of our public safety teams has distributed “Door Hangers” on homes where we’re planning on visiting.

On the day noted in the Door Hanger, we’ll knock on the door, often with our fire department partners, to explain why we’re in your neighborhood.

Thank You!

If we can help make your home safer through the installation of new, 10-year sealed smoke alarms, 10-year sealed CO detectors, and basic fire safety education, we’re ready to do so.
