MySafe:Riverside, the County Coordinator for Wildfire in Riverside County has announced the first of a monthly series of virtual town halls to engage residents within the County on important issues related to wildfire. “Our parent organization, The Safe Community Project, has been very successful with virtual wildfire town halls, so this seems like a nature fit,” said David Barrett, Executive Director of The Safe Community Project. “This falls under the MySafe:Riverside umbrella and becomes a core component of our new Riverside Wildfire Alliance.”
Conducted utilizing the Zoom virtual meeting platform, the virtual town hall will be open to anyone living within the Wildland Urban Interface. Each meeting will feature experts related to wildfire, some history of past wildfire events, and key information important to anyone concerned about the impact of wildfire in Riverside County.
The first virtual town hall will be presented in February 2024. More details will be announced soon.
